Ingredients

  • 3oranges, juiced, about 1 cup
  • 1lemon, juiced
  • 60 gfresh ginger root, a thumb-and-a-half piece
  • 1/4 tspcayenne pepper
  • 1 tspraw honey, optional
  • 1/4 cupwater

Step-by-step instructions

    Blend the ginger with the water for 45 seconds until it is a fibrous pulp.

    Strain through a fine sieve or nut milk bag into a jug, pressing hard.

    Stir in orange juice, lemon juice, cayenne and honey.

    Pour into 2 oz bottles. Keeps 5 days in the fridge; shake before drinking.
